For makers: Makerstead does not grade authenticity, provenance, or value. Your workshop’s reputation is — and stays — yours.
Not a warranty arbiter.
We don’t adjudicate disputes. Makerstead delivers the owner’s message and history to you — you decide what’s due.
Not an appraisal tool.
No estimates of resale value, no insurance-side numbers, no auction-house data. The piece is yours to describe.
Not a regulatory product-passport.
For trades: Makerstead is not built to satisfy EU digital-product-passport regulation. We track what you and the owner share with each other — and nothing else.
